Mango Pear Avocado Smoothie

Yes, I put an avocado in a smoothie. And celery! Pretty crazy, huh? No, not really, as both of those veggies are so mild and versatile that they really take on the flavor of the more powerful fruits. So don't be scared...just blend and trust. This smoothie is pleasently tart, refreshing and an incredibly pretty shade of yellow!

 

In a blender, combine:

1 small pear

1/4 an avocado (or more if you prefer a creamier smoothie) 

1 cup frozen mango

1 cup frozen pineapple

1 large stalk celery

Water to desired consistency (start with 3/4 of a cup and add more if you want after)

 

Blend and enjoy!
