If I had to pick a favorite spice, it would probably be turmeric. It's a truly magical ingredient that goes beyond just how it tastes. Beautiful to look at with it's rich and stunning golden color and delicious to eat with it's warm earthy flavor, turmeric is an ancient healing root that has been used for its anti-inflammatory properties for thousands of years. It is a spice that many naturalists and health gurus advocate for people to have more of in their diet (including me!). These Golden Sweet Potato & Coconut Macaroons are an awesome way to get this magical spice into your family's bodies!
